Please ensure that you have read all terms and conditions carefully before making your purchase.

By purchasing any item, you have agreed to the exclusive terms and conditions governing the sales between the Customer and WTFLighting.com.au (also referred to as WTF Lighting and WITH THE FUTURE Lighting).

1. Orders

1.1. All orders placed through this web site are subject to confirmation and acceptance by WTF Lighting. We reserve the right to change prices without notice due to the nature of the Lighting industry. WTF Lighting reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment made. If payment has been made for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will notify you immediately and refund the amount paid. We will inform you as soon as possible of any changes in prices, or cancellation of orders.

2. Prices

2.1. All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax). For each online order, you must pay:

2.1.1. The applicable price for the relevant goods confirmed by WTF Lighting;

2.1.2. The delivery and handling fee specified on the web site at that time.

3. Delivery & Shipping

3.1. We offer flat rate shipping to most areas within Australia for $12.95.

3.2. Please note that for very remote locations, our shipping cost may increase. If that happens, we will advise and await authorization.

3.3. Orders are normally dispatched from our warehouses within 1 to 3 business days.

3.4. Shipping times may extend due to location, courier errors, customer not being there to meet the courier and other unforeseeable factors.

3.5. WTF Lighting will assume no liability for any late delivery. In addition, this does not constitute a return nor a refund.

3.6. If you are not available for collecting your item at the time of delivery, you will be liable (if charged by the Courier) to pay any additional fees associated with your parcel being sent out any consecutive times.

3.7. Missing or damaged goods while in transit will be processed according to the terms and conditions of the courier company. Claims will only be recognised within 3 days of the delivery.

3.8. In the event that the customer has marked the delivery with an Authority To Leave, where the parcel is to be left at the premises if no one is available to accept it, then WTF Lighting is not liable for theft or damage

3.9. Some items carry special delivery conditions, as these items may require assembly and testing. This will be noted in the item description.

4. Availability

4.1. Every effort will be made to satisfy your order. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you at the earliest convenience.

4.2. In this instance, your order will be placed on back order for dispatch on arrival.

5. Pictures & Product Descriptions

5.1. Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.

5.2. Whilst every effort is made to make product descriptions as accurate as possible, errors may unintentionally occur.

5.3. Various computers and pre-set screen resolutions may cause product misrepresentations. This may be caused by the angle the photo was taken, the camera flash, etc.

5.4 All product(s) must be checked for consistency and approval before installation.

5.5. If your purchase is of a very specific nature, and you require clarification on any item specifications, please contact us before making your purchase.

5.6. Product photos depict an "as displayed" product. Some assembly may be required to complete your light fitting. This may be in the way of dressing chandeliers with crystals, attaching and connecting components, and the like.

6. Payment Details

6.1. We accept the following methods of payment: Credit Card (Visa, Master), Paypal & Afterpay.

6.2. Full Payment Instructions will be provided to you in the checkout.

6.3. Payment must be cleared before any goods are dispatched.

7. Secure Credit Card Payments & Refunds

7.1. For security reasons we do not keep your credit card details on record.

7.2. Once your transaction has been completed, we do not have access to your credit card information. This is strictly regulated by the banking authorities.

7.3. If a refund is required, this will be processed by means in which the payment was originally taken.

7.4. Your credit card details are safe and secure. All credit card information is encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an encryption protocol that protects data as it travels over the Internet.

7.5. There are times, where we may have to contact you to verify you as the card holder.

8. Returns Policy, Order Cancellation Claims & Warranties

8.1. Individual product warranties are noted within each product description and apply from the date of purchase.

8.2. Advertised warranty periods, relate to domestic installations, unless the product was selected from our commercial range of products. In this case, the advertised warranty period shall apply.

8.3. The use of and install location for products are limited by their IP rating, operating temperature parameters, warranty period and usage conditions nominated in WTF Lighting’s marketing material.

8.4. Warranty on LED Globes is specified in the item description. Warranty on any other Globes is Nil, unless found to be DOA (Dead On Arrival).

8.5. All warranties are void, if NOT installed by a licensed electrician.

8.6. Any items returned for warranty, must be accompanied by:

8.6.1. A Returns Codesupplied by WTF Lighting

8.6.2. Original proof of purchase, and

8.6.3. A copy of the electrical certificate issued for the installation of these items by a licensed electrician.

8.7. While all care is taken in the packaging and postage of your order, breakages and loss via transit may occur. Breakages or loss do not constitute a refund, only a replacement.

8.8. Postage fees are non-refundable.

8.9. For any items that are either "Damaged in Transit", "Dead on Arrival" or "Missing from Your Order" you must contact us within 7 calendar days of receipt. These items will be replaced as soon as the necessary procedures have been adopted.

8.10. The warranty coverage period begins from the date of purchase. Please refer to the product description for the specifics of all warranty periods as they differ from product to product. If no warranty period is specified then the item is sold as is.

8.11. All events such as physical damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product from being accepted as a fault under warranty.

8.12. Items being returned under a "Change of Mind" or "Purchased in Error" will only be accepted under the 7 Day Returns Policy. Outside this 7 day period, these items will not be accepted. It is the buyers responsibility to return any items to us at their cost. We recommend that you return items via an insured mail service for your protection.

8.13. Any electrical costs incurred to remove or re-install the faulty items will not be covered by WTF Lighting. WTF Lighting warranties cover the product only.

8.14. All items constructed from natural materials such as concrete, glass or timber, may feature the following characteristics: bubbles, slight lines, pin dots, cut edges, slightly off centre. There may also be slight variances in size of +/- 5mm between stock. These are not considered defects. WTF Lighting will not recognise or accept any unreasonable claim relating to the unique characteristics of these hand made products.

8.15. If you wish to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund less 10%. In addition, any surcharges that applied will also be deducted from the refund. This is to cover administration, handling and bank fees.

8.16. If a registered service is not used, and/or we do not receive the returned item, then we will assume no responsibility for the loss.

8.17. It may take up to 10 business days to process your return after we receive your item.

8.18. We reserve the right to charge you to collect the goods and to charge you for any damage that may have occurred whilst the goods have been in your possession.

8.19. Once the returned item is tested, if found to be not faulty,a reissue fee of 20% of the item price plus postage will be payable by the customer before we re-dispatch the items.

8.20. Where the goods are listed as "Sale no Return", then these items cannot be returned nor a credit or exchange issued at all.

8.21. If you have ordered an item that requires assembly or customisation (this will be noted as special delivery conditions apply), these orders cannot be cancelled, returned nor refunded.

9. Liability

9.1. WTF Lighting shall not be liable to the Customer, or to any other person whomsoever, for any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly in connection with the Products, other than expressly imposed by statute in terms of which it is not possible to limit or exclude liability.

9.2. WTF Lighting expressly excludes liability for consequential loss or damage including but not limited to loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings.

10. Changes To Terms

10.1. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from WTF Lighting.

11. Applicable Law

11.1. These terms and conditions are to be construed in accordance with the laws of Australia and in the event of any dispute or claim associated with these terms and conditions, that dispute or claim shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

12. Privacy Policy

12.1. At WTF Lighting we understand our customer's concerns about their personal information and how it is collected and used. We want to assure you that we are committed to protecting and handling our client's privacy securely and carefully.

12.2. For WTF Lighting to process your order, we need information such as your name, email or contact number, delivery address and payment details. We may share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order. Other information will also be collected with your permission from time to time. This will normally include preferences such as likes or dislikes. Your Personal Information:

12.2.1. This will be collected when you log on, place an order or register with us.

12.2.2. This will not be collected when you visit our web site and surf our product list.

12.2.3. When you place an order and/or register your details with us, you will be asked for the following personal information: your name, e-mail address, mailing address, delivery address and any special delivery instructions and phone number.

12.2.4. The information we collect about our clients is used to process orders and to personalise their shopping experience.

12.2.5. Your personal information will not be shared, sold, rented or bartered to any third party without your permission.
